Marriage Biodata Templates, Free to Start

8 designs, from plain and modern to fully ceremonial. Fill in your details once and switch between them without retyping, because the wrong template makes a good biodata harder to read.

How to choose one

The honest answer is that it depends far less on your taste than on who reads the biodata first, and on what you have to work with.

  • Parents and elders read it first: Classic Elegance (free) looks like the document they're expecting, with a centred header between fine rules and the details in neat boxes.
  • The candidate reads it, usually on a phone: Modern Minimal (free) has no ornament at all and plain rows that are quick to scan.
  • You want warmth without going traditional: Floral Dreams (free) adds a few small flowers and soft tinted cards.
  • You have one strong photograph: Portrait opens with it at full width.
  • Your biodata is on the shorter side: Zen Minimal makes that look deliberate rather than unfinished.
  • The occasion is formal and festive: Royal Heritage, with its deep framed header, or Heirloom, with a gold frame that stays gold whatever colour you pick.
  • You want formal, but not traditional: Golden Luxe sets the whole page dark, with fine accent rules.

What every design shares

The design changes how your details look far more than which ones appear. Every template shows the same rows, and an empty row never appears on any of them, so a section you leave blank simply isn't there. One gap for now: Portrait and Heirloom don't show the About Family paragraph. A profile photo is needed to publish, whichever design you choose. On Plus and Premium you can also change the order of the rows inside each section, and that order holds on every design.

Every design is drawn in the colour palette you pick, Rose unless you change it, in the font you pick. That's why the colour bars on the cards above are only a hint: each template's own page shows it in Rose. And every published biodata can be read in English, Hindi, Marathi or Gujarati from the same link.

Your marriage profile: a link and a PDF

Once it's published, your marriage profile lives at its own link, marriageprofile.in/bio/ followed by the username you chose, in the design you picked. That's the version most families open on WhatsApp.

The PDF is different. It has its own simple layout, the same for every design, in your colours. You can always download it yourself, but visitors can only download it if you switch on “Allow PDF download”, which stays off until you do. On the free plan every page carries a small “Created with marriageprofile.in” line. So if paper is what matters most, choose on what you write rather than on the design. Whether to send the link or the PDF is covered in how to share your biodata.

Looking for a Word file?

There's no Word download here. If what you need is a document to fill in and print yourself, the marriage biodata format guide has complete samples in plain text that paste straight into Word or Google Docs, and it covers what a biodata should contain in the first place.

You are not locked in

The template is a display choice, not a decision about your details. They're stored once, and switching template re-renders them. You never retype anything, and your profile link does not change. It is worth building the biodata first and trying two or three designs at the end, when you can see your real content in each.

What is free

3 of the 8 templates are on the free plan: Modern Minimal, Classic Elegance and Floral Dreams. Between them they cover most situations. The rest are on Plus and Premium; see pricing. Every plan can publish a profile, share the link and download a PDF.
